We have graduated more than 200 students. With our strict standards for graduation, those graduates are working in the industry all around the state and farther. The Institute is excited to be going into it’s third year of operation. We’ve hosted over 50 open houses, enrolled more than 300 students, graduated over 200 cannabis professionals, worked with Massachusetts pro-cannabis nonprofits, and helped many local licensed cannabis dispensaries staff their companies.

After a year of training new professionals for rewarding careers, we are excited to share all the information that has given us. We have redesigned our basic curriculum for the wants, needs, and advice of our students, alumni, instructors and supporters. We have expanded our classes on cultivation and are preparing better more focused material for advanced coursework. We will be adding advanced classes for industry professionals in the next year.

The full Competency Program consists of 12 courses. The classes rotate over a two week period. You can complete the courses in as little as two weeks or over up to three months, the schedule will be designed to fit your lifestyle. Exams are scheduled every 3-4 weeks and resume writing classes run monthly. Our school community is active with L.E.A.F and WomenGROW.

Cannabis Science and Compliance

Introduction to Grow Room Design

Cannabis History

Extractions and Infusions

Media Marketing and Branding in the Cannabis Industry

Cannabis Cultivation 1: Preparation through Propagation

Cannabis Cultivation 2: Vegetative Phase and Troubleshooting

Cannabis Cultivation 3: Flower through Quality Control

Weekday classes are offered from 6:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays. Saturday classes are offered 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Fill out the Student Enrollment Agreement and Student intake form, you can fill them out online to expedite the enrollment process, but you will have to complete a printed copy with your signature on it before you start your first class. You will also need a copy of your photo ID that confirms you are at least 21 years old and proof that you have completed a high school level education or better.

We are here to provide you with the material and the guidance for an education that will set you apart when applying for jobs in the New England cannabis industry. You will take that information and use it to propel you into your dream field.
